SAFE ARRIVAL

1.0             Rationale

The safety of students is the priority and joint responsibility of families, trustees, school staff and community members.  A safe arrival program is a system of procedures that can be used to account for any pupil’s unexplained failure to arrive at school.

District School Board Ontario North East (DSB1) is committed to the implementation of a safe arrival program in all elementary schools.  DSB1 school staff will follow the procedures associated with this policy.
