Community Use of Schools
Community Use of Schools is an initiative that supports access to school space, outside of school hours, for community members to come together, volunteer, build skills, access community programs, become physically active and build strong and healthy communities.
Our schools are welcoming and inclusive environments that offer family groups and community organizations fair and equitable access to the use of school space at affordable rates, to help support and promote healthy, active lifestyles for community youth.

Permit submissions for the 2026-2027 school year will open the week of August 24th, 2026. Formal approvals will begin mid September. Permits are not considered approved until all required documentation and formal permit approval has occurred.
