The Municipal Election will be held on October 26, 2026. Voters will elect District School Board Ontario North East Board of Trustees for the upcoming term from November 15, 2026 to November 14, 2030.

District School Board Ontario North East Trustee Positions
In DSB1, 10 Trustee positions are elected through zones from Hearst to Temagami. Additionally, one Trustee who identifies as Indigenous is elected by Nation representatives to sit on the Board.
