Start your child's journey with DSB1!

We are excited to welcome your family to our inclusive and vibrant learning community. Whether you are starting Kindergarten or moving to the region, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Step 1: Find Your School

View our School directory to find a DSB1 school nearest you. Check if your address qualifies for student transportation through the North East Tri-Board Student Transportation Consortium.

Step 2: Submit Your Online Pre-Registration

Our secure online portal allows you to begin the registration process at your own pace. You will need to create a brief account to get started.

Step 3: Finalize Your Registration

The school will contact you to finalize the registration process. They will ask that you bring the following documentation to complete the process.

Proof of Child’s Age: Birth certificate or passport.
Proof of Residence: A utility bill, tax bill, or lease agreement showing your physical address.
Immunization Records: Required for students joining us from outside of Ontario.
Legal Documents: Any relevant custody or access papers, if applicable.
