Jewellery-Making Workshop Arts and Culture SHSM and Visual Arts students explored metalsmithing in a jewellery-making workshop with Georgian College's Andrea Wenckebach on May 23. This unique hands-on experience let them create their own pieces while learning from a skilled professor and artist.

Skilled for Success: DSB1 Students Shine at Regional Competitions Students from across our region have successfully competed in the Skills Ontario Regional Competition, showcasing the exceptional talents of students in various technical and skilled trades, preparing them for future careers in these in-demand fields. Winners from the regional competitions will advance to the Provincial Competition in Toronto, with the opportunity to progress to the Skills Canada National Competition.
