Please note, you will be required to register with your DSB1 email address and Google account. You will need to be signed in with this account to register with the above link. Your employee ID number is also required to facilitate payment.
The presenter will email participants a Teams link at least 24 hours before the presentation. Please use your DSB1 email when logging into the sessions, as this will automatically take attendance and will be how we verify the number of sessions attended. We also kindly ask that you turn your cameras on when attending a session. This creates a better sense of community and gives the presenter(s) visual feedback on how the session is going. Presenters have shared it is much more enjoyable to present when they can see all the participants.
We will once again be providing an honorarium of $50.00 per session to all permanent DSB1 staff that attend a session. Honorarium’s will be calculated based on the attendance list created automatically by MS Teams. This means you will need to use your board account to participate. This should ensure fewer errors and the most accurate way of taking attendance. This also means that you will need to log in individually, and not as a group.
If you have a regular workday on Wednesday August 27th, 2025, you will not receive an honorarium for attending. Principals and vice-principals are welcome to attend the sessions. Other employees who are scheduled to work that week are asked to speak with their supervisor if they would like to register for one or more sessions.
