Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)

The UDHR sets out fundamental human rights to be universally protected and upheld for everyone, everywhere.
The 75th anniversary of the UDHR reflects on the work of those who helped shape a more inclusive Canada while acknowledging the inequities and challenges that persist for those in Canada and abroad.

This day highlights the important role we each play in standing up for human rights and ensuring no one is left behind.
