Gardening For Health

​Did you know that gardening is beneficial for mental health and well-being? Not only can regular gardening reduce mental health problems like depression and anxiety, but it can also reduce stress and combat high blood pressure. On May 8th, students and staff at Timmins High ad Vocational School partnered with the Porcupine Health Unit to make their own mini-gardens! It was all in celebration of Education week and Mental Health Awareness Week.
