Dear Friends and Families of Temagami Public School,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction on behalf of Mrs. Walker and myself. As the newly appointed Vice-Principal and Principal of Temagami Public School, we are looking forward to getting to know all of the families and students.
I am joining the Temagami Public School team after ten years in Special Education. During that time, I served as the District Special Education Resource Teacher, and most recently as the District Administrator of Special Education. I am excited to be returning to a school setting and getting to know the T.P.S. community.
After spending the last three years at Timiskaming District Secondary School, Mrs. Walker will be returning to T.P.S as the Principal, and for some, she will be a familiar face.
Because our administrative roles are shared between both New Liskeard Public School and Temagami Public School, I will be the primary contact for the school. Please know that although I will be the one that you see most often at the school, Mrs. Walker and I are a team, and she is eager to support me in this endeavor.
Along with the staff, we are excited to build strong partnerships with families and want to work together to make school a positive and enriching experience for all learners.
I look forward to meeting you in the coming weeks..
