Pinecrest Public School and Timmins High and Vocational School are working together to begin a peer mentoring program. Child and Youth Workers Erica Hurteau-Ludgate and Shelley Robinson partnered with Brady Power and his travel and tourism class to bring the students together.
The older students will be working with the younger students every few weeks to mentor them, play games, and run different activities. As part of their first gathering, all the students played ice breaker games and got to know each other. The younger students all left very excited and looking forward to the next group. Thank you to all students involved!
