Mme Steele’s class at Timmins Centennial Public School recently celebrated International Dot Day with a “dot party”. International Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration. It is based on the book The Dot by Peter Reynolds which the class read numerous times. Students celebrated by wearing polka dots to school. They also re-created the dot art that was in the book -- all framed in swirly gold, traced their names in dots, used muffin tins to stamp dots on paper and used Q-tips to create a mandala.
