Sonic Democracy News

​On June 8th, 2018, Sonic Democracy will release Crossroads & Dreamlands, their second full-length studio album. The band, comprising 23 senior music students at Timmins High & Vocational School, under the creative direction of Barry Promane, is presently composing five songs that they will record at Coalition Music in Toronto in early May. This unique 21st-Century learning project is made possible by the TEMPO Educates Foundation and the generous financial support of Tahoe Canada.

Sonic Democracy will perform and host official album release concerts on Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th at the William Dawson Theatre (Timmins High) in addition to their performance at Stars and Thunder, opening for Marianas Trench on Tuesday, June 26th.

Crossroads & Dreamlands will be released internationally on all digital platforms on Friday, June 8th via iTunes, Google Play and Spotify. In addition, physical copies will be available at Sonic Democracy’s upcoming year-end shows.
