Students and staff at schools across District School Board Ontario North East took part in various activities for Bell Lets Talk Day. On Wednesday, January 31st, they got engaged to help end the stigma surrounding mental illness, and let those who struggle with mental illness know that they are not alone. In support of #BellLetsTalk, staff at Schumacher Public School were offered free hand massages, healthy snacks and self-care tips! The Jack Chapter at TDSS prepared and delivered a presentation about mental health for the students at New Liskeard Public School. Meantime, students at W. Earle Miller created signs and posters which they posted throughout their school.
