Distance Learning 9-12
The distance learning program offered through the District Learning Secondary School (DLSS) provides students with synchronous learning opportunities through video conferencing to stay safe during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
How can I register for Distance Learning?
A student can register for Distance Learning by contacting their home school. Families may request a change in the mode of delivery through the home school by the set deadlines indicated in the Return to School Plan. Students will be emailed course registration information via their school board email address (@dsb1.ca) before each rotation.
The eLearning program allows secondary school students to take synchronous and asynchronous courses online which can supplement in-school course options and offers time flexible options.
How can I register for eLearning courses?
A student can register for eLearning courses through their high school during course selection in the spring for the next school year. Students can also contact their home school guidance counselor for further information during the school year.
