District School Board Ontario North East recognizes that students need to be
able to apply what they have learned in real life situations. As a result there
is a continued focus on providing learning opportunities that allow students to
use their knowledge and skills in a connected manner.

Ministry of Education website in considerable detail. Secondary course profiles
for grades 9 to 12 are also available for teachers.

offers access to many units for split grades as well as regular classes in the
areas of Mathematics, Social Studies, Science & Technology, and Language.
