Cross Country Challenge 2017

​Roland Michener Secondary School is set to host the R.M.S.S. Elementary Cross Country Challenge. The event will take place on the grounds and running trails of Northern College on Friday, October 20th.

“Many of the elementary schools from across District School Board Ontario North East attend this event every year, as it has proven to be a positive experience for all,” says organizer John Bohdanec. “We are hoping to have about 350 runners participating. The divisions include Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 (Boys and Girls divisions).”

"Winning teams in each division will receive a plaque for their school, and the top three finishers in each race will receive medals," adds Bohdanec. "As the event will run rain or shine, schools have been instructed to ensure all of our runners are dressed appropriately."
