Jack.org representatives visited our secondary schools last week for Jack Talks: mental health presentations delivered by young people, for young people. Trained and certified youth speakers use the power of personal stories and mental health education to inspire, engage, educate, and equip young people to look out for themselves and their peers.
The Jack Talks are a part of the Mental Health and Well-Being Strategy at DSB1. This is a great opportunity for our students to hear from their peers and to learn strategies to foster positive mental health.
Our Jack Chapters are looking forward to bringing the energy from the Jack Talks to their Jack Summit, taking place on April 23rd.
