Role of the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)

The Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) meets monthly:
  • To provide advice on Special Education to Board on matters affecting
    establishment, development, and delivery of Special Education programs and
    services for exceptional pupils.
  • To include a membership of First Nations’ representation (for students attending
    under an Education Services Agreement) and representatives of local
    associations, community parent members
  • To include a 4-year term; coinciding with the election of Board of Trustees
 
 
Meetings are held virtually using Microsoft Teams with audio-conferencing available from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Please note, some meetings may be held via teleconference.
